Manufacturing System

Along with the most advanced FAB and the most cutting edge production equipment, CSMC has also set up a number of advanced and comprehensive information systems, including CIM, ERP, PDM, etc. These systems provide a platform for highly efficient manufacturing operation as well as real-time customer service.

CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) System

The structure of CSMC's CIM system is outlined in the figure below. It is comprised of a core MES system, which is connected to an equipment application system, a recipe management system, a preventive maintenance system, a quality control system, a real-time reporting system, and advanced process control system. The fluid combination of these components forms the software foundation for CSMC's modern factory. The system allows for an automated production procedure by stabilizing the process, enhancing quality and process reliability, and by shortening the production cycle.
